The M20.02 is a dedicated 2-way stereo controller designed for the models in the Installation series.
The Mach controllers have been designed to offer optimum control and unexcelled sound quality at a very competitive price. The M20.02 features sensing circuitry that determines the limiting level by measuring the amplifier output directly. This technique offers the best possible security, as the controller always knows the exact output from the amplifier. At the same time it utilizes the full dynamic capabilities of the loudspeaker, as the limiting circuit is engaged at precisely the right time. Maximum limiting is 25 dB. Limit levels for all Mach models are easily programmed inside the controller.
The 24 dB Linkwitz-Reily crossover offers excellent control and protection of the drive units and has ideal phase through the crossover points. To protect the woofers, a 35 Hz, 24 dB high-pass filter is built in.
The circuit board is constructed with the advanced SMD technique using a double-sided print. As a result the signal path is extremely short and the signal-to-noise ratio is excellent. In addition the SMD technique results in a very compact design. As the SMD print operates at very low power levels, the heat build-up is kept to a minimum and the reliability is therefore excellent.
The output is adjustable from - infinity to + 6 dB and a true transformer output drive is used. The electronic design is fully balanced with XLR inputs and outputs.
The 20.02 comes in a one rack unit 19" cabinet. It is the ideal choice for the speakers in the Mach Installation series. It is easy to use, compact with low weight and combines efficient protection and superb sound quality.
