B&O Bang & Olufsen Beovox HT S45 type 6302, 1976-1977, made in Denmark

A compact 3-way loudspeaker of excellent quality designed for use with mid-range models such as the Beomaster 2000, 3400 and Beocenter 3500. The 3½ midrange driver was designated as a “phase link” unit, and was intended to reduce phase distortion. Its cone was made of doped paper and even after a long period remained “sticky” to the touch. As with the rest of the original Uniphase range, the back was made of moulded resin, and contained shaped cut-outs to aid wall mounting.
