The Hitachi SR-604 features a newly developed high efficiency, high power audio amplifier (class G or dynaharmony) direct connection ocl power amplifier.

Other features include 10-LED power indication, electronic protection circuit, subsonic filter, detent type volume and balance controls, equalizer circuit with high performance IC, tape dubbing, two speaker systems connection, phase locked loop for FM/MPX circuit, ceramic filter, IC in AM tuner, two large easy to read meters and a large sized flywheel tuning knob
